Season Opener: Viano Quartet (9/28/2024 7:30PM)

Musica Viva welcomes the Viano Quartet for the first time on our series. They are one of the most sought-after string quartets today. They are quartet in residence at NY’s Lincoln Center. Since winning first prize at the 2019 Banff International Competition, they have traveled all over the globe. Critical reviews praise their virtuosity and expressive playing. Program: Schubert Quartettsatz, Beethoven String Quartet, op. 59, no. 2, and Dvorak’s popular “American” String Quartet in F Major, op. 96.
