Erinys Quartet (11/08/2026 3:00PM)

The prize-winning Erinys Quartet returns for another season to Musica Viva! Members of the group have roots in Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, the United States and Finland. The group was formed in 2018 in the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Since 2025, they have been the graduate quartet-in-residence at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana. Program includes Mozart Quartet in d minor, K. 421, Schubert Quartet in d minor, “Death and the Maiden,” and a work by contemporary composer L. Beecher, “Juniper and Birch.”
